From Pixels to Paper : Hybrid Basics

I’m not sure if you heard the news, but there’s a new face at Scrapaneers… and it’s me! I have been invited by Tiffany to teach on a topic that I really love—hybrid papercrafting!

I’ve been spending a lot of time in my studio over the last few months, working on my class. I’ve been recording every part of the process—from what I do in Photoshop, to how I print at home, to how I use different tools in my studio—to bring you a comprehensive class that covers everything you need to know about hybrid from start to finish.

If you’ve been wanting to play around with hybrid papercrafting, but you don’t know where to begin, this class was designed for you!

Over three sessions, I will walk you through all the basics of hybrid. Then you will work along with me as we complete three beautiful hybrid projects together. We’ll be covering things like card making, printing sticker and stamp elements, making your own note cards, and how to use a template to make a hybrid gift box:

I will also be available in the forums to answer all your hybrid questions, too. You can take this class at your own pace, but you won’t be alone on this journey!

So, if you’ve felt like hybrid is “too hard” or “too complicated” for you to try, let me show you just how easy it is!

From Pixels to Paper: Hybrid Basics launches on February 2nd and I hope you will join me then.

  2. carole

i would love to win a spot in your class! Love your work!

  3. Morwenna

I would particularly like to know how to choose the best paper for printing digital supplies ready for hybrid use!

  4. Theresa

I’ve only done a little bit of hybrid…..mainly printing and cutting digi supplies to use in my PL. Would love to learn what else I can do.

  5. Amie

Thanks for the chance to win! I’m not doing anything hybrid yet- because I think my printer’s quality stinks… maybe you could talk a lil about that?

  6. lauriewe

I would love to learn how to use elements in a hybrid fashion so that they have dimension- like brads and flairs. Thanks for the chance to win

  7. Tammy Davis

I really love the 3D cards that the designers are making. Would love to learn more about making them myself! thanks so much for the chance to win!

  8. Donna U

I would like to learn more on elements. The class sounds inspirational!

  9. francine

I need to learn so much about printing for hybrid projects. Thanks so much for the chance to win!! Wishing tons of success with your class. Its going to be amazing!

  10. Jennifer

Thanks for the chance to win!! I’m getting back into papercrafting after many years and know pretty much nothing about hybrid projects. I’d most like to learn how to make digital embellishments look like the real thing…with dimension, highlights, shadows, etc. Would also like to learn any tips and tricks to save time and money.

  11. Monica Kirkwood

I’d like to know how to do hybrid well — without a cutting machine! I love your products and appreciate you gifting someone a spot in your class 🙂

  12. JodieR

I would love to know more about bringing it all together into a hybrid page! Most of my “hybrid” scrapping has been printing smaller scrapbook layouts and sticking them down on paper. Would love to integrate it more

  13. Robyn Scrapbookcrazy

I would love to know more about hybrid projects. I do cards but not much else

  14. Mary McCarthy

I would love to learn how to make pennant banners. I’m sure it’s super easy but I have no clue about adhering it to a stiff background, etc.

  15. Joni Beugnot

Sounds like a great class. Would love to learn more.

  16. Linda H

I do a lot of digital journal boxes, then print them on photo paper. But try as a might – they’re always not quite the right size. I’m sure there must be a trick to transferring from digital to paper and have it work the first time… Murphy’s law and I are way too friendly!

  17. Carrie

I would love to learn how to put my Silhouette to use. 🙂

  18. melindawharton

I’d love to win this class! January 28th is my birthday, and this would be a great gift! (Just sayin’!)

  19. Julie

I would love to be a part of this class! I gave up on traditional crafting because of a lack of time, but I’m not in love with digital yet. A combination of the two seems IDEAL!

  20. jodi

If there is a digital element that I think I could use on a traditional page, I would love to know how to do it.
